Looking to purchase an electronic dirt bike that is super easy to handle and reliable? There is hardly a better choice than the Zero FX which provides style, performance, and ease of use in one package. At its core, the Zero FX uses the Z-Force 75-5 engine that manages to stay quiet and powerful at the same time. Just like with most modern e-bikes, your braking energy does not go to waste either: whenever you need to use the brakes, the created energy will get sent back into the engine, extending its range of use. That means you can ride for a lot longer in places where you have to use the brakes more, like cities or harsh terrains.
The Zero FX Lets You Customize the Bike for Your Needs
This bike was made with many different terrains in mind, and the best thing is that you can always fine-tune your experience. The Zero FX comes with various performance profiles that you can easily switch between, so you can get the most fun out of it on both the asphalt and off-road. Not only that, but the manufacturer also provides an app for your phone where you can further customize the bike, as well as check out various statistics related to your rides (like how much gas money you can save).
You have probably heard some horror stories from electric vehicle owners about times when they couldn’t find a charging station and they had to call a tow truck. With the Zero FX, you don’t have to worry about charging: the bike uses a simple 650-watt onboard charger, which means a simple 110v household outlet will be more than sufficient for charging it. Once you got home from your ride, you just have to plug it in and it will be ready to go in a couple of hours. In case you want even faster charge times, Zero also offers a special Quick Charger which cuts the waiting time by 60%, or you can just simply throw in a fresh battery and go for another ride. Zero covers their batteries with a five-year warranty in case you have performance issues.
The Zero FX is available in two variants. The Zero FX ZF3.6 offers hot-swappable batteries which means you can charge them even away from the motorcycle, or you can simply put in a new battery and double the bike’s range. With a 3.6 kWh capacity and 85mph top speed, this variant can travel 46 miles in cities on a single charge.
The Zero FX ZF7.2 offers the range of two batteries out of the box but it also costs more. Since the battery integrated into the vehicle, you don’t have to worry about swapping the batteries out. The travel distance of the ZF7.2 in cities is 91 miles and it has the same top speed as the ZF.3.6.
With a stylish look and competitive price, the Zero FX is perfect for those who like customizing their riding experience as much as possible.
